1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the EOT Crane Designer website (eotcranedesigner.com), the Crane Genie application (app.eotcranedesigner.com), or any related services provided by FDES Technologies Private Limited ("Company", "we", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Services

FDES Technologies provides:

• EOT Crane Designer Website: An informational website about our Crane Genie EOT crane design automation solution
• Crane Genie Application: A web-based EOT crane design tool available at app.eotcranedesigner.com
• Online Calculator: A free concept-level hoist design calculator for preliminary sizing
• Custom Automation Solutions: Bespoke engineering design automation software developed to client specifications

3. Use of the Calculator Tool

The free online hoist design calculator provided on our website is intended for concept-level estimation only. By using this tool, you acknowledge that:

• Results are approximate and for preliminary reference only
• The calculator does not replace detailed engineering analysis
• FDES Technologies is not liable for any decisions made based on calculator outputs
• Detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and manufacturing-ready outputs are delivered only through the full Crane Genie system

4. Crane Genie Application — Credits, Payments and Refunds

The Crane Genie application (app.eotcranedesigner.com) operates on a prepaid credit model:

• Creating an account is free. You may view a sample report at no cost. Generating a design report for your own crane requires purchased credits.
• Credits are prepaid and are consumed when you run a design. Prices are shown at checkout and are exclusive of applicable GST (currently 18%).
• All engineering outputs are generated by automated software and must be independently reviewed and approved by a qualified engineer before use for procurement, fabrication, or regulatory submission. FDES Technologies accepts no liability for outcomes arising from their use.
• Credits are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and are non-refundable on expiry.

Refunds & Cancellations

• Used credits, and the GST charged on them, are non-refundable.
• The Trial pack is non-refundable in full, whether or not the credits are used.
• Starter, Professional, and Enterprise packs are refundable only if none of the credits in the pack have been used, and only within 7 days of purchase. In that case we refund the full amount paid including GST and issue a GST credit note. Once any credit from a pack has been used, the entire pack is non-refundable.
• There are no partial refunds. Approved refunds are made to the original payment method within 7 to 10 business days, net of payment-gateway charges.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on our websites — including text, graphics, logos, images, software, and design — is the property of FDES Technologies Private Limited and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Reproduce, distribute, or modify any content without prior written permission
• Use our trademarks, logos, or brand names without authorization
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any software provided

6. Custom Software Development

For custom Crane Genie implementations:

• Specific terms, scope, deliverables, and pricing are defined in individual project proposals and agreements
• Source code ownership terms are outlined in the respective project agreement
• Development timelines are estimates and may vary based on project complexity and client responsiveness
• Payment terms are as specified in the project proposal

7. User Responsibilities

When using our services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information in all forms and communications
• Use the services only for lawful purposes
• Not attempt to interfere with or disrupt the operation of our websites
• Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our systems
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FDES Technologies Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of our websites or services. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our websites and services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. All engineering outputs from the calculator tool are for reference purposes only and should be verified by a qualified engineer before use in any project.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
